Block


This is my first block. All stainless steel and plastic. Still need to assemble it by peening the rods.

Battens

Here are the oaken battens for the sail. The top one is the full-length batten for the top of the sail, while the lower three (including the one partially inserted) stiffen the roach in the lower part of the sail.

Plugs

The plugs at the ends of the spars. This should render them watertight and floating. The black epoxy got scraped off later and it looks much better now.
